On December 9, 2025, standing at UNECA in Ethiopia, surrounded by people united for Palestine I felt something I can’t forget.
It wasn’t just a program, it was a reminder that the voices of the oppressed never fade, no matter how loud the world tries to silence them.
To stand in solidarity is the least we can do, but even that felt heavy because behind every speech, every flag, every prayer, there are real lives fighting to simply exist.
May Palestine know peace in our lifetime.
May their pain never be normalized.
And may we never allow our hearts to grow quiet while theirs are still crying.
