Real talk... when I moved from the UK to Spain in 2018 I honestly thought I would be leaving all my problems behind... 😂😂

hahaha how I was wrong.

Yes I left behind many problems in the UK such as debt, high cost of living, never ending bills, very little work / home life balance, no money for holidays, no chance of owning our own home, little child care help from family, always feeling completely exhausted and deflated.

Instead when I arrived in Spain we just switched old problems for new problems which looked like:

Goats constantly escaping, 36 acres of land and 800 olive trees that we had to maintain, a big farm house needing constant work, a 4.5 km car killer track, a language barrier, a new culture, Spanish bureaucracy and the main struggle - trying to make it work financially, when living in such a remote location.

The idea was to make a retreat business and rent out the guest house, however the local council had other ideas and we weren't allowed a tourist license so we quickly had to think of plan B.

We were trying to be 'self sufficient' and although our bills had gone down drastically by being off the grid and producing our own electricity and water etc we were relying on family to help us put food on the table. This wasn't very self sufficient and honestly was embarrassing. It felt like we were surviving, not thriving.

Myself and Jack had a serious conversation one evening about either going back to the UK or trying to find something online. So I said I would give it a go. I had a laptop, I had a wifi connection but more than anything I had the fire in my belly that would not give up on this dream and would do anything to keep it alive.

After reaching out to friends and family I landed my first VA client after 2 days and the rest in history.

Working online, being my own boss, having total location and financial freedom has changed our lives DRASTICALLY.

It's now my mission to help more freedom seeking women do the same!

Happy Tuesday folks.

I remember a time when Tuesday for me at 8.30am meant being stuck in traffic, driving to a job I hated (working as a seamstress) for a boss who was a total b*tch.

My nervous system was completely dysregulated, I was smoking way too much ma*****na and I did not have a bloody clue what I was doing with my life, thinking deep down is this really it?

That job only lasted for a week btw, I soon realised I was not going to work any longer for the dragon lady getting paid pennys and treated like s**t.

Two of the women I was working with at the seamstresses however had worked there for over 15 years, because they didn't know any different, they didn't realise there was another way and the dragon lady provided security for them. They went to work, got their heads down, put the shift in and went home, day in day out doing the same thing.

So many of us fear change, fear the unknown, fear putting ourselves out there and failing. For me I feared the opposite, for me the idea of doing a job I hated day in day out for years and years, working for someone who wasn't very nice was much worse that actively trying to change my life with the possibility of 'failing'.

The times when my life has changed for the better is when I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone and jumped head first into the unknown, mostly going from my intution, listening to that little voice inside saying 'go for it Georgia, it's going to be scary but it will be worth it, just trust yourself'.

So ask yourself now, what would you be doing with your life if you fully trusted yourself? Would you be living the life you are living now or would it look wildly different?

We all value different things in life, we are all completely different, every single one of us, no two people are the same, isn't that a wild thought?

My values have been the same for the past 15+ years, they haven't changed.

I truly believe that we should all live our lives aligned to our true values and this is a big part of what we do inside of Freedom Business Accelerator in Phase 1, we map put your values, who you are at a deep core level, what makes you YOU, what lights you up, what life do you really want to live and WHY....
