What could be better than sitting down with the original Dementia Man himself? We'll talk about his play and now the book, about the new stories of dementia and Alzheimer's we both advocate for in our work, about the need for earlier diagnoses and stronger supports for families and caregivers, and about making great art in difficult times.

Join me tonight in midtown Manhattan for a vibrant, colorful discussion with artists, therapists, and community programmers about the impact of musical storytelling on communities and families in need. Hosted by Musical Theatre Factory, an organization that equips artists to create musical stories as a collective force for justice, healing and radical imagination. I'll be joined by Dementia Spring fellow Flako Jimenez and the Oye Group NYC !
Lizzy Care
We’re honored to welcome Dr. Marc Rothman, physician executive and co-founder of Lizzy Care and The Dementia Spring Foundation, to our inaugural Fast Forward conversation.
Dr. Rothman’s work bridges medical innovation and compassionate storytelling, using technology, art, and care systems to support aging in place and reimagine dementia care. Through Dementia Spring, he and his wife, Sisi Myint, champion artists who are transforming how we see memory, identity, and healing.
Join us as we explore how creative practice can inform medicine, and how empathy can drive innovation in health and storytelling alike.
