IE University Rugby Club

Hi gents,

I hope all of you are ready for another season but this time in a higher league !
Although our first game is the 29th of September, new players from any degrees are still welcome to join ! We need a maximum of players as the season will be long with a high turnover due to internships, exchanges or injuries, so it is definitely a unique opportunity!

Here are the important infos to know :

- Trainings: Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 to 10pm. A bus, provided by IE, will be leaving from Calle Pedro de Valdivia 21 (just behind IE Undergrads building) at 7:30pm

- Games : 3/month on average, Saturdays or Sundays to be confirmed at the beginning of each weekend

Last weekend, we secured a gap of 15pts between us 1st and the third of the league thanks to a large victory against Aeronáuticos Rugby Madrid. Looks like we are on our way ...🔜

Great victory for the team last weekend! Early tries made us secure the win easily to continue our path to the promotion.
Tomorrow's game will be really important and winning can get us a comfortable difference with the 3rd of the league who lost today, meaning a huge step towards the promotion! Let's go IE!

Last Sunday 2nd of December, our university organized the IE Rugby fan day to support us for the sort of final against Torrelodones, co leading the league with us.

Thanks to the huge support from the IE Community and good rugby skills, we won this game and we are now first in the league alone ! The support from students significantly helped us to secure the win in this really important game.
