Back in February, we had an inspiring discussion in Lisbon.
Together with , , and , we launched the Lisbon After Dark Trilogy a three-part series exploring nighttime culture, the nighttime economy, and the role of the night in Lisbon’s cultural ecosystem.
In the second session, we spoke with people from across Lisbon’s cultural landscape to look at the night not as “party” or “consumption,” but as a breeding ground for artistic expression, talent, experimentation, and community.
This was one of the key messages that emerged from the conversation. Full article in our linktree.

Amsterdam’s night is not in decline. It is evolving and the data shows it. VibeLab is proud to announce the launch of Amsterdam’s largest-ever night culture needs assessment report.
In collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam (Team Nachtcultuur) and PennPraxis, we surveyed residents to better understand how the city experiences and values its night.
The findings are clear: more than 90% of respondents participate in night culture, most go out several times a month, and demand for diverse, accessible, and inclusive spaces remains strong.
The full report that is delivered in Dutch is ready to be downloaded on a link in our bio!

🌙 Nighttime is more than nightlife.
On Monocle Radio during World Economic Forum in Davos, Mirik Milan & Georgia McDonnell-Adams shared why the nighttime economy matters. From safety and creative talent to real economic impact.
💬 “1 in 10 people work in the nighttime economy contributing around 3% of global GDP.”
💬 “When people think nightlife, they think drinking and dancing, but night is also about getting home safely and developing creative talent.”
Cities don’t stop at sunset. Neither should policy, investment, or imagination.
Thanks to Monocle radio for having us and creating space for this important conversation.
