You can still work up to 30 hours/week while studying — no change there.
But now the rules are even better:

You don’t need a separate permit anymore to work —
whether you’re employed, self-employed, or doing an internship within your academic plan.

Plus, you’re no longer restricted to working only in the province where you study.
Now you can work in neighboring regions too!

And here’s the big bonus:
If you work, your health insurance is now covered by Social Security.

All these updates mean more freedom, more flexibility, and less paperwork.
