Born In 1990 Teresa Freitas was born and raised in Lisbon she managed to get a degree in Multimedia Art while focusing on her own perception of photograpy which was later paved when she was introduced to instagram which helped speedup her rise by giving her the perfect fit to showcase her work photography.

I consider myself very lucky to have
had the support of my parents to
pursue my art. The advantage of
practicing at such an early age was
profound. I had unbridled optimism and
felt I could do or be anything I wanted.
Not fearless, mind you but certainly
believing that my photography had no
limits. That subconscious philosophy
was ignited by a book my father gave
me when I was 14 years old. It was an
early monograph of Jerry Uelsmann’s
and changed my life forever. From that
point on, I knew there was no limitation
to what I could do photographically
and have spent my entire career
proving that to myself over and over
again.
