As we continue our countdown to the 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, we are honoured to introduce today’s featured speaker: Dr. Ahmad Aboul-wafa.

A specialist psychiatrist and child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Ahmad Aboul-wafa graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Azhar University and obtained a master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry from the same institution. Dr. Aboul-wafa is the founder of Psych Clinics and the Belaraby Initiative, an Arabic psychological awareness project aimed at reducing stigma around mental health. His clinical practice integrates multiple therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-focused therapies.

In his upcoming session, "𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐧," Dr. Aboul-wafa will explore the development and role of executive functions across different stages of life.

As we continue our countdown to the 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, we are honoured to introduce today’s featured speaker: Professor Sungsoo Chun.

Professor Sungsoo Chun is a Professor at the Institute of Global Health and Human Ecology at the American University in Cairo (AUC). He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Global Supercentenarian Cohort Network Study (GSCNS), the first multi-country platform dedicated to studying extreme longevity (105+). His research integrates population health datasets, clinical phenotyping, and biological markers to understand human resilience. With over three decades of experience, his work bridges systems medicine and health analytics to develop scalable models for next-generation longevity science.

In his upcoming keynote, "𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭-𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠," Professor Chun will outline the paradigm shift required to move toward integrated, high-dimensional, multi-country cohort platforms. Drawing on the GSCNS, he will present an innovative framework that connects population-level health datasets with clinical indicators and biological markers. By identifying the complex interactions between lifestyle, genetics, and social determinants, this session offers a blueprint for scalable, lifespan-oriented healthy ageing strategies.
