وتعرف الكثافة السكانية بأنها قياس عدد الأشخاص في منطقة ما وهو عبارة عن رقم متوسط يتم حسابه من خلال قسمة عدد السكان على مساحة المنطقة.
الكثافة السكانية ايضا هي عدد الأشخاص لكل كيلومتر مربع.
