Le rappeur DMX de son vrai nom Earl Simmons, leader du collectif Ruff Ryders, est décédé ce vendredi 9 avril à l’âge de 50 ans.

Il a été conduit à l’hôpital White Plains (New York) vendredi dernier et placé sous assistance respiratoire pendant une semaine après avoir souffert d’une attaque cardiaque causée par une overdose de drogue.

Parmi ses hits on retiendra « Ruff Ryders’ Anthem », « Where The Hood At? » ou encore « Party Up (Up in Here) ».
