A little late, but wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!
At the end of last year, Akoma played our first show with our new guitarist Chris and drummer Sivin. After a long period of absence, it was amazing to get back on an intimate stage again and share our sound.
While it seems we're not out of the woods yet, we are continuing to work on new material and rehearse (safely) so we're ready to rock as soon as the world opens up.

Hey folks! Another peek into our professional lives offstage:
Chris spends his days (and some nights) working as a software engineering manager at GitHub inside of Microsoft. You may know of GitHub as the home of open-source software and social coding, or you may know it just as the tech company with the cute Octocat mascot. Either way, it's no small effort supporting a system with over 50 million users and nearly 200 million source code repositories, but for Chris it's as much a labor of love passion as music.
