There is a person we want you to meet. He has a very special task

This is Morten.

He is the person who is going to take by far our biggest quest to the next level.

Morten is going to cross the North Sea just as our ancestors the vikings did back in the year of 793 and negotiate and trade with the English people.
And no, he is not going to travel by long boats or attack any monasteries or cities. Firstly he is completely outnumbered and secondly we have become more civilized since the age of the vikings. And we do not expect him to grow a bigger beard and wear a helmet with horns, either.

But he is a big man, so he could easily have been a fearless viking.

Morten is going by airplane and instead of swords and shields he will be using his super power, his gifts of speech and his computer to show bike shops how our POS system works.

What we’re trying to say is that Morten is our International Client Manager and he will be the person who is going to go to England and attend bike fairs and contact bike shops and tell about our POS system.

But it’s just a bit boring to write and we are not boring!

Today, we want to tell you a story.

It is about the three gentlemen behind Bikedesk - you know, the ones with the big passion for bikes.

So once upon a time, back in 2016 (the year when Jakob Fuglsang won a silver medal at the Olympic Games), Brian, Rasmus, and Lasse did a lot of cycling. 🚴‍♂️ 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️
And on occasion, their bikes would break down, so they needed them to be fixed and they went to a local bike shop in H.C. Andersens’ city, Odense.

And there they saw the problem: everything was written on Post-its! 😮

Do you know what happens to Post-its? They disappear!

So they decided to develop the best POS system for bike shops.

They spent hours and hours at their local bike shop to understand the bike shop's needs.

And one day, they were ready to seek out and go on their so far biggest adventure.

Before you ask, they didn't slay any dragons or ride horses.

They packed a car and drove out to visit bike shops all over Denmark. 🚗💨
After years and years, they have developed a POS system specifically for bike shops.

And they are not alone on their quest anymore.

Today, they have expanded their team from 3 to 27.

The fairy tale is far from over - on the horizon awaits their biggest quest yet: The international market. 🙌
