Paying Homage to the traditional fabric borders that frame Japanese tatami mats, Soft Outline explores the beauty of contrast and quiet structure. Each rug is defined by a distinct edge – a deliberate outline that reflects the architectural clarity of Japanese interiors, where transitions in material are treated with reverence and precision.

Tactile and composed, Soft Outline is a contemporary reflection on everyday rituals. Expertly crafted by hand from pure New Zealand wool, the rug’s durable softness and natural warmth will enrich its surroundings for years to come.

When colour becomes the muse

At , we presented Palette Muse - an exhibition exploring how instinctive sketches evolve into woven rugs and sculptural forms.

Curated by stylist .vest, the exhibition brought together handmade rugs and mouth-blown glass sculptures designed by . Through colour, texture and material contrasts, the installation invited visitors into the creative process behind the work.

The exhibition also marked the launch of Palette Muse, a new collection of handmade rugs inspired by the emotional force of colour and the tactile richness of natural materials. Crafted using weaving, tufting and knotting techniques, each design balances artistic expression with material depth and tactility.
