I work with these pieces through the hand’s direct, sensory engagement with the material. In the naive and the wild, a sense of presence emerges as I let go of control and allow the traces to remain. Stitches, colours, and movements carry time and touch. The investigations feel inexhaustible, as presence shifts from one colour to the next.
