This piece was one of the first tattoos I did at my private home studio after I moved last year. I was initially worried about leaving a more professional studio space to go back to "home" tattooing but to be honest, I've really enjoyed the privacy and the peaceful sessions that my clients and I have created together. What initially felt like a step back, or a failure, has been more of a reset.

A lot has changed for me this year in regards to my relationship to tattooing. It's been slow and I've been unmotivated and discouraged to post my work...

I've had thoughts about quitting... self doubts...days where I really questioned if tattooing is really the career for me long term...

Nowadays I find myself getting back in the groove and pushing through the negative inner monologue because......

Looking through all my tattoo pictures has helped me recall the priceless conversations and intimate moments with my clients that remind me how much I truly love this profession. Even when the bookings are slow, even when the like counts aren't high. This work is soul fulfilling and I'm honored by every single person who trusts me with their skin.
