About year ago, one of the young girls on our adoption program called Akosua Acheampong successfully graduated from a 3-year dressmaking apprenticeship.
In this video, we capture her thoughts during the little graduation ceremony held in Ghana in April 2025.
We thank her sponsor, Josef, for giving Akosua a lifeline that is empowering enough to help her start her own business in her local community.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day. 🌸
We wish all women around the world strength, courage, and joy. Women are drivers of change – in families, communities, and across society. Without women, there would be no humanity and no hope for a better world.
Today we also send a special greeting to our women in the tailoring workshop in Obom (Ghana). Every day they work hard for their future, for their children, and for their community. We are proud of you. 💛
