About a decade into my successful career producing media, I realized it was trauma related. Raised in chaos I guess it felt normal to reign in a video crew and create schedules and structure myself. In the commercial world I produced spots with and amongst others. My social piece for went viral. But nothing stopped me in my tracks like yesterday. I went from behind the scenes and became the star. It brought up every insecurity and ptsd moment from my prior life as a producer. In the end, as I sat in the makeup chair, I realized it was another ceremony… im grateful to my friends for their support and to the spirit in me who takes a deep breath and follows through, despite fear. I made a pivot in my career life a while ago and found my soul purpose coaching folks with love and care. I’m hopeful to be of service to more people and that’s what this photo shoot was about. Collectively We’re walking through mass trauma and I’m (sadly) here for it. I believe plant medicine with coaching can help this generation to heal too.

“Hippie at heart. Make love, not war.” A self-description I’ve carried for 30+ years. Like many young folks, I sought identity through music. The greatest influence on my life will always be the Grateful Dead.

My senior yearbook quote came from Box of Rain: “Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.” My first bowl from a head shop aptly named Shakedown Street.

But beyond the tie-dye, it was always the music. The music is part of my DNA—a pathway of self-connection filled with love, grooves and endless jams.

The passing of Bobby yesterday (preceded by Phil less than a year back) feels like a stop-frame. A moment to pause, look back, and appreciate what was—and all that will be—with the Dead’s music as my soundtrack.

Fare thee well, Bobby. Thank you for the music. 🌹

Mixed mediums. I’ve always loved juxtaposition. Working with clients feels like artwork to me. Each person a perfect piece of art already - maybe just searching for meaning. I’m excited this year to support more folks reach their highest potential. What does that mean to you? Please comment below!

Initiations. Plant medicines can support our growth. But there’s a first step. Choice. The path of initiation is making personal choices again and again. We can’t turn back time, but we can define the path forward. Plant medicines can act as gateways but the initiation comes from within.

Heal gently 🩵 feedback I get often is “you’re so easy to talk to” and it warms my heart as one of the biggest compliments. As one who’s been thru the fires of healing, I always wanted just a gentle touch. Someone to hold me in the energies of love and comfort plus acceptance and add a little neuro spice for funsies.
