Community Action Scheme Africa - CASAF

Today, we sincerely honor the women and men in Community Action Scheme Africa - CASAF child protection team who work tirelessly and passionately to protect children from neglect, violence, exploitation, and abuse both online and offline.
Our goal remain the same, one of assuring that every child affords the freedom to succeed both in school and in life, unhindered by any form of violence, abuse or exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse whether in or out of school.

Yesterday March 21, Community Action Scheme Africa - CASAF and other WASH cluster partners were at "Kombo Las", a rural community suffering from serious 💦 shortages. Celebrating with the "Kombo Las" maritime community provided an opportunity to acknowledge and analyze their water needs as well as co-create pathways for increasing access to water, sanitation and hygiene products and services including menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and water treatment products.
CASAF provided the community with Aqua tabs and soap for hand washing as well as education and sensitization on hygiene and proper waste management specifically discouraging open defecation and the disposal of waste into the sea.
