A lot of projects to boost the industrial sector are being limited by lack of appropriate power supply in our country.
Advocating for improving energy supply in the remote areas it's a briant point to tackle in hope of change.
And this continuous battle ,Dr Didier Mouliom- Industrial pharmacist in Cameroon has taken the lead. 🤝🤝🤝🤝✨✨✨✨👏👏👎👎
Advocating for improved energy supplies in Africa
Increasing the use of renewable energy and developing energy solidarity, cooperation and technology exchange are essential, Didier Mouliom, FIP Industrial Pharmacy Section vice president, told government officials, investors and stakeholders at an Economic and Cultural Week of Cameroon event held at the Cameroonian embassy in The Hague, Netherlands, last week.
Dr Mouliom made known the difficulties faced by pharmacists and other health professionals in Cameroon in providing care against a backdrop of electricity shortages. He described, as an example, how 21 pharmacies in the far north of Cameroon have only an average of 6 hours of electricity per day, presenting challenges to the correct storage of COVID-19 vaccines and other products.
Dr Mouliom’s advocacy is part of the work of FIP and the African Pharmaceutical Forum to ensure that health systems in Africa have better access to electricity. Find out more here. https://bit.ly/3wiLvO0
