Food and Rural Development Foundation (FORUDEF)
🌍🐘 Happy World Wildlife Day from FORUDEF! 🌿🦍
Today, we celebrate the beauty of our forests, the richness of our wildlife, and the strength of our communities who protect them every day.
From elephants and gorillas to birds, pangolins, and the countless species that call our forests home; wildlife is part of our identity, our culture, and our survival. Our forests provide food, medicine, water, income, and hope for future generations.
At FORUDEF, we believe that conservation begins with people. Through community forestry, sustainable harvesting of NTFPs, and empowerment of women and youth, we are working hand in hand with local communities to protect biodiversity while improving livelihoods.
🌱 Protect the forest.
🐾 Protect wildlife.
👩🏾🌾 Empower communities.
🌍 Secure our future.
On this World Wildlife Day, let us all commit to safeguarding our natural heritage, because when wildlife thrives, communities thrive too.
