At Community Vision Group (CVG), our greatest strength lies not only in our vision but in the passionate people who bring it to life—our volunteers. Today, as Country Director, I pause to pay tribute to these dedicated men and women whose selflessness continues to inspire me and our communities.

The just-ended Viral Hepatitis B Advocacy Project, funded by the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination (CGHE) and the Task Force for Global Health (TFGH), is a shining example of their commitment. From schools to community halls, our volunteers carried the message of prevention, awareness, and advocacy with unmatched passion. They stood in marketplaces, visited classrooms, and engaged policymakers, ensuring that Hepatitis B is no longer a silent epidemic in our communities.

Their tireless work has not only educated thousands but also strengthened CVG’s mission to make health a pillar of peace and development. Volunteers are more than the backbone of our programs—they are the heartbeat of our movement. Their passion reminds us that real change is powered by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

To every CVG volunteer: thank you for your courage, energy, and belief that healthier communities are possible. Your impact will continue to echo far beyond this project.
Julius Ntang, Country Director, Cameroon.
