正值香港藝術發展局舉辦首屆香港演藝博覽（HKPAX），藝術資訊中心同期展出一系列表演藝術檔案藏書及資料，讓訪客透過劇場攝影、圖像、書籍和專題文章，探索香港的表演藝術概況。中心亦設有互動遊戲，讓訪客認識有關表演藝術的小知識，並獲得小禮物，送完即止！🎁

Theatre In and Out: exploring Hong Kong performing arts in archives

Apart from attending performance, have you been aware of the records of on-stage and backstage of performing arts in Hong Kong?

As part of the inaugural Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX), organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Arts Information Centre displays a collection of books and archival information on performing arts, and invites visitors to explore Hong Kong’s performing arts through theatre photography, images, books and featured articles. Visitors may also take part in an interactive game to learn fun facts about performing arts, and may receive a souvenir while stocks last! 🎁

一個空間 多重藝術體驗

香港藝術發展局黃竹坑新址於去年七月正式啟用。過去一年內，藝發局於多用途藝術空間「展藝館」先後舉辦了《南區旁注》展覽，三個演出節目 —《漁生請你指教》南音故事劇場、《創》爵士音樂會、《寂靜喧動》跨媒介舞蹈演出，以及一系列教育及社區活動。透過不同形式的藝術觀賞及體驗活動，讓大眾認識及欣賞本地藝術家的創作，同時帶領區內、區外人士以多角度了解黃竹坑，以至南區的過去與現在，讓藝術走進大家的生活。

Diverse Arts Experiences at SHOWCASE

Hong Kong Arts Development Council's new premises in Wong Chuk Hang opened in last July. In the past year, Marginal Notes exhibition and three performances— Naamyam Theatre "To Meet You in a Briny Sea", Jazz Concert “Originals and Fusions", and Multi-disciplinary Dance Performance "Still, Not Still", as well as a series of educational and community activities were held at the multi-purpose arts space SHOWCASE. These diverse forms of arts appreciation activities and experiences not only allowed the public to understand and appreciate the creations of local artists but also guided people from within and outside the district to learn about the past and present of Wong Chuk Hang and the Southern District from different perspectives.
