This is hard to imagine in a world where we have access to EVERYTHING all the time...
But how do people see this as normal?

It actually really scares me.

In the early 80's we only had a couple of species of apples for example. Red, green or yellow. Then they became a marketing thing, there are labs that create hybrid apples, give them a name and market them in a fancy way.

Do most people not know this or don't care?
