π¬ About Prof. Dr. Lidia La Mendola
ποΈ Prof Dr. Lidia La Mendola obtained her PhD in Structural Engineering in 1992, at the University of Naples "Federico II" and has been a University Researcher at the University of Palermo since 1994, an Associate Professor of Structural Design since 1998, and a Full Professor since 2004 at the current Engineering Department of the University of Palermo. She teaches Structural Design for students of the Civil Engineering degree course and Safety and Structural Rehabilitation of Existing BuildingsβMasonry Constructionsβfor students of the master's degree course in Building Systems Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Dulaimiβs research interests span a wide range of topics in pavement and transportation engineering, contributing significantly to the advancement of infrastructure and material technologies.

π¬ Dr. Kinga Korniejenko is an Associate Professor at the Cracow University of Technology (CUT), Faculty of Materials Engineering and Physics, Chair of Materials Engineering.
She holds two Ph.D. degrees: one in Management from Jagiellonian University and another in Materials Engineering from CUT, focused on geopolymer composites. Her research combines innovation management, sustainability, and advanced materials engineering, with particular expertise in:
ποΈ Fly ash-based geopolymer composites
π§΅ Fiber-reinforced composite materials
π¨οΈ 3D printing for concrete and geopolymers
π± Sustainable and environmentally friendly engineering solutions
π Dr. Korniejenko was also recognized among the Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
