‼️ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 ‼️

The DA-RFO-CAR Corn Program held the turn over ceremony of Farm Equipments to its Qualified beneficiaries.

Farm Equipments was handed to the qualified beneficiaries by the Corn Program as an intervention to the increasing challenge for the corn farmers. The Timpuyog Agriculture Cooperative (Rizal) had received one unit of a recirculating dryer and one unit of a combined harvester; the Bakir Corn and Vegetables Farmers Association (Rizal) and the Gumawisan Mapaco Farmers Association (Pinukpuk) each received one unit of a four-wheel-drive tractor (90 hp). Present during the turnover ceremony were Kalinga Provincial Agriculturist, Engr. Domingo A. Bakilan, Regional Corn Coordinator; Gerardo P. Banawa, Regional Agricultural Engineering Division Chief, Engr. Filemon M. Salvador, Kalinga Provincial Governor, Hon. James S. Edduba and APCO, J.R. Balag-ey Claver. The turnover program was held on September 19, 2024, at Research Outreach Station-Kalinga, Liwan West, Rizal, Kalinga.
