I’ve been holding a lot lately… feeling weighted down by responsibilities.

Reacting to things… and people… in less than positive ways.

And afterward the guilt and shame of my words and my actions takes hold.

So rather than hang onto it, I release… not through overthinking or replaying it in my mind, because then it grows

… but through movement, through dance, letting my body express itself in the way it chooses.

It doesn’t take long for it to move through me and the weight of the world to feel a little lighter.

Sometimes we try to force clarity by thinking harder.

But the nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure.
It responds to safety.

One of the gentlest ways to begin reconnecting to your body is through slow, intentional movement.

Soft spirals.
Breath.
Neck rolls.
Letting the body unwind a little.

And when we slow down enough…
the body will often tell us what the mind has been struggling to figure out.

Not always in words.
But in sensations.
In softening.
In knowing.
In a sense of settling.

Your body holds wisdom too. 🤍
