We are proud to announce that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has officially granted our new patent - US 12,354,492.

This patent strengthens our IP portfolio in dental education and haptic simulation, covering an advanced training system that uses vibrotactile feedback to help dental students and professionals practice procedures more effectively.

Through this innovation, we continue to bridge robotics, sensory intelligence, and education, empowering a new generation of learners with immersive, data-driven training experiences.

A long-term dream came true today. At the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Virginia, I had the chance to see both the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner rover and the Canadarm up close.

As a Killam Laureate postdoc on the neuroArm project, I worked with the surgical robot developed as a scaled-down adaptation of the Canadarm. I published several papers on it and always wondered what the original looked like in person.

Seeing it today was both inspiring and a reminder of how innovation in one field can transform another.
