I made this box a few years ago before I had any professional training in carpentry. The hinges are made out of fishing line, and all the cuts were done with a hand saw. It holds a collection of cards that enumerate all of the meteor tricks I know, as well as some blanks, a pencil, eraser, and pencil sharpener.
Whenever I feel in need of a refresher, I just go through the cards and see what tricks I’ve forgotten I can do, or which tricks I need to practice more. Often, this leads to the discovery of new tricks.

The magic room at The Odditorium Art Space was in a part of the building that the fire didn’t reach, so though water poured through and damaged a lot of things there, most of my magic case was salvageable. It is damp and swollen and smells smoky, but I’m hoping that after a few days it will dry out and can go back into service. Sadly, my favourite pocket tricks were up in the apartment, and need to be replaced, but at least my cups and balls survived.
