Such a beautiful drive from Nashville to New Orleans. We made a stop in Birmingham, Alabama to pay respect to four little girls and two young girls men who were murdered September 15,1963. The 16th street Baptist church was ground zero for movement to eliminate segregation. 1000 children didn’t go to school and instead marched peacefully to protest segregation. Bull Connor sent police and the fire department to arrest the children and turn on the water bombs on these peaceful children. Those water bombs were strong enough to strip bark off trees. The second day 1000 more children marched. With the same results, finally with the help of the media pressure was put on the president and he intervened to push for desegregation. Unfortunately the K*K were very upset and sent three men to plant dynamite under the steps of the 16th street Baptist church while Sunday School was being taught. The dynamite blew a hole into the church and killed the little girls and injured many more. Later that day one young girl black teenager boy was shot in the back by a police officer and another young boy was killed by teenage rascist boys. It took decades for justice to meted out. By that time some of the murders had died by old age. It was a very emotional exhibit.

Will you be making a New Year's Resolution to get organized???? I can help! This is a custom project I did for a home gym - a simple and attractive way to display and access items that would otherwise take up a lot of space. This system also works well in a shop, garage, closet, kitchen - anywhere! If you'd like more information, drop me a private message or comment here - I'd love to hear from you. 👍👍
