Noel Unbound

No stream this week. Wrist has flared up a bit and I'm back in the brace. Hoping just a few days of rest will help. I'll keep everyone posted for when I stream next!

Tonight! I've greatly expanded the song list to include songs I kinda know, but might not be 100% comfortable with. Will I mess them up? You'll have to tune in to find out! And don't be shy to make requests from the list. Instructions will be in the stream chat.

After some much needed downtime, I'm just about ready to start up a semi-regular streaming schedule! Catch me most Wednesday nights on Twitch and YouTube! Links are in my profile and I'll post them pretty regularly. Don't forget to send in your requests!

Live from my studio - it's Friday night!

I'll be going online at about 6:30ish tonight to keep working out some of the bugs I have on my stream. I'm not promising a polished product tonight, but it'll be fun nonetheless. If you're not doing anything tonight, why don't you tune in - or even just have it on as background noise while you do what you do!

So, the proof concept stream went very well. Key learnings were to remember to reset my board from my previous band's setup and reset the pan to my setup. Make sure chatbots work (oops). Figure out why my combined Twitch/YouTube chat didn't work. Reset the gain levels on the board to properly push through to the broadcast software. Figure out how to get requests to be properly queued. All in all, it was fun! I think I may have a second go of it tomorrow night. Stay tuned!

Here we go ... Live in 5

Big day today! Today will be a proof of concept day to test the stream and equipment! The video is already set up, and I'll be setting up my mixer later today. If all goes according to plan, I'll attempt a "go live" test of the stream at around 3:30 this afternoon. I fully realize that there won't be many viewers - and that's the point. This one will be about making sure things work as intended. If all the bugs get worked out, then my regular schedule will start up beginning on Wednesday the 25th! I'm getting excited!

Ok folks - I'm just about set! My first stream to the world is going to be in a couple weeks! I'm targeting March 23rd as the first live stream. I have some things coming up next week and a vacation over March Break. I can't wait to do a test run to see how everything goes. Hope to see you then!
