Here's a bird with extra flair I never shared that was made as a gift two years ago for an amazing lady with a big heart.

She runs a program on her farm that gives adults and kids with higher needs and varying abilities a place to feel welcome, included, and supported. A place my kiddo says is the only other place they truly feel seen and understood. Her advocacy and support for our family has been immeasurable over these tumultuous last few years.

is a gem in our community. And Mary-Ann is an angel. 💜

In the meantime, between watercolour and woodburned bookmarks, I've taken a break this week to participate in for my first time and I'm having a blast! I even invited to come over and play! I

I finally got to learn how to better use my acrylic markers. And after learning watercolour over the last few months from Lacey and Andrea, after having only used acrylics for most of my life, I finally got to try gouache which I heard it was a cross between the two and very much enjoyed that as well (but dang I'm loving the wash and bloom of watercolour!)

These are just a few of the workshops I've done so far. Two I haven't finished yet, and a few others I need to go back and watch as I missed them the first time around.
