Today we recognize and hour young caregivers across Canada. Young caregivers are children, teens, and young adults who provide care, support and compassion for a family member or loved one.

Young caregivers often balance many responsibilities while still navigating school, friendships, work, and everyday life. Their care can look like helping with daily tasks, offering emotional support, or simply being there in meaningful ways.

If you are a young caregiver, or you support one, we want you to know that you are not alone. Resources and support are available through the Young Caregivers Association.
