My Mom - Elizabeth/Betty/LizaBoop
Always reaching, always free
How do we ever truly say thank you to the soul who gave us life… Who spent years nurturing us while also growing into herself along the way? It can never fully be enough, but should always be expressed
This woman possesses formidable strength and joy in the inherent spirit she carries through the world. Adventurous, resilient, compassionate, and beautifully alive - she has filled my life with countless colourful memories, laughter, lessons, and experiences I will carry forever.
I love this lady to infinity and beyond and am more than grateful to be her son and for every chapter we get to share together.

EXHALE
Some connections arrive like oxygen.
They feel rare. Inevitable. Written somewhere before you met.
This piece was born from one of those.
For a year, I believed in a future that was being whispered to me in fragments. Time zones, flights, long calls, shared memories from another city we both once loved. It felt fated. It felt aligned.
But truth has a way of surfacing through distance.
What I eventually understood was this:
I wasn’t losing someone.
I was releasing an illusion.
EXHALE is the moment breath becomes boundary.
The moment love becomes clarity.
The moment you choose your own energy over someone else’s inconsistency.
It is the only work where I allowed my own profile to appear.
Not to memorialize him - but to witness myself letting go.
The blue forms are movement.
Energy leaving.
Stories dissolving.
The red figure is not a person - it is attachment untangling.
Sometimes strength isn’t holding on.
Sometimes it’s the exhale.
