The games industry has been quite a ride these last few years, hasn’t it?
At Timbre, we’ve been conspicuously quiet for a while (which, if you know us, is NOT on brand)! We’ve been busy with legal work and setting up the future of the company, and in the coming weeks, we’re stoked to share more details about our journey as an independent studio.

An announcement from Joe Nickolls, Timbre’s CEO:

Some big news to share today. As many of you know, Timbre Games Studio had to close our doors a couple of months ago, but we weren’t quite ready to throw in the towel just yet.

The great people at Sumo Digital Ltd have helped us transition into a fully independent studio and allowed us to take the Timbre Games name and brand with us, and we are very grateful for their help.

The support we have received from the gaming community has been nothing short of amazing.

We are also proud to partner with our friends Rob Edgar & Kristina Blanco at Studio Capital Management handling business development!

Along with Geoff Coates I am excited to share more about our new leadership team and future of Timbre Games Studio in the months to come.
