We are open to a foster-to-adopt arrangement for SomSom as we understand why people are hesitant. This arrangement allows a family two weeks to decide if he is a fit for your family.

Rescued from: high-kill shelter
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year old
Weight: 7kg
Vaccinations: complete
Spayed: yes
Bloodwork: no issues
X-rays: no issues

🐾 Behavior 🐾

Good with men: yes - she had stayed at a dog-friendly café after being rescued from a shelter. She was able to meet various types of people there with no issues.
Good with women: Yes she loves all kind people.
Good with dogs: She now has 7 fur mates at the foster and gets along well with all of them.
Good with cats: unknown - we will NOT home Leanna to a home with a cat
Good with kids: Yes she loves kids. Her initial foster family has a kid.
Potty trained: She is p*e pad trained but prefers to go potty outside.
Crate trained: She is not asked to be crated at the foster, but she sometimes likes to be in a crate when taking a nap. She is not distructive so being left alone home free roaming, she should have no issues.
Energy level: medium

💖Other Information💖

Leanna gets along well with all fur mates, no matter big or small. When she plays outside with dogs, she becomes more active.

She is pretty good at jumping. She is able to jump over the height of a baby gate…so this is what adopters may need to watch out for.

She has always been around other dogs and never been alone, so the adoption wish is for her to have a fur sibling.

💗 must have another dog at home
💗 must be committed to feeding a high quality kibble, home cooked, or raw diet
💗 lots of patience and love to give
