The body heals itself. Your job is to remove the interference and support the process — not to be the hero. 🙌Sit with that for a second, because it reframes the entire practice:
1️⃣ You're not the source of healing. The body already knows how. Nervous system, immune response, tissue repair — it's all running whether you take credit or not.
2️⃣ Your role is to clear the path. Remove the interference. Reduce the load. Create the conditions. That's the work.
3️⃣ Ego-based care makes YOU the hero. "You need me." "Nothing works without me." It sells — but it traps both you and the patient.
4️⃣ Integrity-based care makes the PATIENT the hero. You're the guide. They do the healing. And ironically, that's what builds the loyalty, the referrals, and the practice that lasts.
The moment you stop performing the role of hero, the pressure lifts — off you, off your team, off your patients. That's not just better ethics. You've seen it. Maybe you've been it. The ego-driven model, in plain sight:
