For over two decades, Lula Lounge has been a hub for rich cultural experiences, live music and community celebration. We are so proud of what we’ve built and want to mark this occasion with YOU! The patrons that keep us going.

Lulaworld 2026 - Night 4
RUMBA JAM with Daymé Arocena
As part of the 20th annual Lulaworld Festival, Daymé Arocena brings her Rumba Jam to Lula. Don’t miss this rare rumba experience!
The night includes a 30-minute rumba dance lesson led by Dailyn Martinez, offering an entry point into the movement, rhythm, and context of styles like guaguancó and yambú.
Musicians, singers, percussionists, and dancers are invited to take part as the music builds and shifts throughout the night.
This is a working session as much as a performance—rooted in tradition, shaped in real time, and shared with everyone in the room.

Huge congratulations from Lula Lounge to Nelly Furtado on her induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame — a moment that carries special meaning here in Toronto’s Little Portugal, where her story resonates deeply.
A heartfelt congratulations as well to Alex Cuba on his historic 2026 JUNO win for Latin Music Recording of the Year — the very first time this category has been awarded. Over the years, Alex has helped pave the way for so many artists across the country, opening doors and building space for Latin music in Canada to truly thrive. A truly unique and authentic voice, his work has expanded how Canadian audiences understand Cuban music in all its richness, and continues to inspire artists across generations and genres.
Shout out to Lido Pimienta for her beautiful tribute performance, and to all the nominees in this first-ever Latin category — a milestone moment for the community.
