Dr. Glen Brown, born in New Liskeard, ON on July 13, 1933, was best known as the long-time farm manager and veterinarian for Ontario’s famed Armstrong Bros. farm. In 1995, Dr. Brown was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026.

Cliff “Chappy” Chapman, Sr., born in Ontario on July 12, 1893, owned, trained or drove some of the best pacers and trotters in the country and was the patriarch of a great racing family. In 1989, Chapman, Sr. was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026.
