Last month during BHM, we had the honour of supporting the Toronto Black Film Festival with media relations and publicity for the legendary Ernie Hudson. Some may recognize him as Winston from Ghostbusters… truly iconic. He was in Toronto for the festival to receive a Career Achievement Award.

Welcoming and honoring Ernie Hudson at the 2025 Toronto Black Film Festival was an amazing privilege and a testament to what this festival represents—not just for Toronto but for the global film industry. As one of the most iconic figures in cinema, Ernie Hudson has broken barriers, brought unforgettable characters to life, and inspired generations with his immense talent and grace.
