This past week was a huge one! 🥹

I had the honour of joining as a collaborator and co-host of The Scale Summit - an intimate event for members of The Next Level Club + a few special guests.

In-person events are so special to me - not only are they relatively 'new' to my portfolio (a.k.a exciting and a fun challenge) but they are so powerful to be a part of. 🥹❤️

It was so fun prepping session curriculum, going on supply runs with my love , facilitating throughout, and most importantly watching members build life-long friendships and biz collabs. x

Yesterday, I was reminiscing on my days as a Vet Assistant.

This afternoon in particular was memorable - I pulled a 5 foot tapeworm out of a piece of 💩.

I didn't know it at the time, but this job would heavily influence how I run and build teams today.

Seeing how vital front line workers are to the life and health of a business.

Seeing how tens of departments intertwine and communicate with one another.

Seeing how money and resources can be allocated, to people, to supplies, to problems.

In some cases, I learned what I DIDN'T want to bring into my future career and teams.

And in some cases, I learned what I DID want in every team and position I held moving forward.

Honest and efficient communication via accessible and converging channels.

Team member empowerment and elevation, no matter the role or seniority.

Passionate and open-minded leaders.

Thoughtful, interactive and consistent training mechanisms.

This is what I aim to infuse into marketing teams.
