Found my happy place (and all the best colors) on a walk through the woods! 100% crunchy leaves and vibrant colors is really the best season of all😉
Help me determine which one of these shots were the best.

Did some impromptu corporate headshots with Felix who always looks dapper in a suit. The challenge here was to bring an easy to set up and take down set up that doesn't take up too much space. This would be essentially a photographer making a house call to do some quick shots.

I don't get to do a lot of studio work since space is a constant issue but once in a while it's great since it really forces you to hone in on your lighting with no other factors to consider like the sun.
Working through the process bit by bit until the light drop off just the way I wanted it was a fun experience,
Can't wait to try more dramatic lighting styles the next time I do a studio shoot.

✨ Shadows, elegance, and just a touch of mystery ✨
There’s something timeless about a deep burgundy dress, pearls, and the play of light and shadow. Each frame tells a different story—whether it’s the quiet moment on the stairs or the confidence of owning the room.

📸 Which vibe speaks to you most:
1️⃣ Cinematic mystery
2️⃣ Soft introspection
3️⃣ Classic confidence

Had a lovely shoot with .
Which one is your favorite photo from this set?

it's been about 2 years since I've gone location shooting. So I started back with the basics. 1 light source ala window.

It's the basis of all photos and I was in love with how the light cast a shadow across the wall, giving it an extra dynamic. Overall I love these photos quite a bit, they allowed me to play with the shadows and highlights and intermingle them in a balancing act. I don't normally go in this direction for color grading but it just felt right, given the background.

Big kudos to the model for leaning over the ancient rickety railing.

Some photos I managed to grab around Saturday evening. I wasn't able to shoot as long this year due to the heat and my general aversion to it. Major respect to all the people who still soldiered on and cosplayed like champs. You're the real MVP 🙏
