Thanksgiving looks a lot different for us this year, as so many are saying. It has truly been a lesson in gratitude. And also in recognizing that sometimes joy comes with other opposing emotions and that’s okay.

We’ve been sad not to share the birth of our baby with family and friends, but so happy to bask in slow mornings and keep all the cuddles to ourselves.

We’ve been anxious about hubs’ work being unstable, but we’ve had priceless time together with our new baby. He never would have gotten to spend so much time with Ella otherwise. And lucky me - he’s had so much hands on experience and never declines to do a diaper change.

We’re so sad Andrew’s family isn’t here visiting from Australia right now, but loving keeping in touch so often via chat and FaceTime.

We’re missing social time and hugging friends, but we’re not having as much FOMO being stuck at home, and actually loving it because we’ve got out sweet girl to keep us entertained!

Here’s to a year of big highs and big lows. We are so grateful for our health, the food on our table, and the roof over our heads. We are so fortunate!! Happy Thanksgiving from our fam to yours ♥️

Our sweet Ella is four months old! She brings so much joy to our lives already, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
