As a certified parent peer specialist and mental health instructor / advocate Teresa currently works with / supports NAMI Georgia, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies of Georgia, Mental Health America of
Georgia, March of Dimes of Georgia, The Federation of Families, and Parent To Parent of Georgia.
Moreover, Teresa is the owner of TWJME Enterprises and founder of MOM BIZ BOSS. When asked what some of her most important accomplishments are, Teresa says that being a mother has been her most important accomplishment and joy, Plus being able to help so many other mothers, parents, and families has also been more than rewarding!

Anissa Felix, hailing from Brooklyn, New York, is a descendant of Panamanian heritage. Since 1996, she has made her mark in the vibrant metro area of Atlanta with her family. Anissa’s journey began at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, where she honed her skills while embracing her passion for modeling through various fashion shows. In 1997, she seized an opportunity at Emory Clinic, showcasing her expertise for two years.
Anissa’s entrepreneurial spirit soared when she courageously opened a daycare in her
home, juggling the responsibilities of caring for her four young children. Divine intervention paved her path to becoming an Early Educator when she was selected by a
local Head Start Facility to provide service for toddlers.
Following the conclusion of her Home Daycare contract, Anissa pursued higher
education, earning her Associates and Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and
Communications while excelling as a Lead Teacher. For twelve impactful years, she
dedicated herself to Head Start, igniting her passion for Early Intervention.
