Thanks to everyone who supported our holiday campaign! As a result of generous donations, Right2Swim was able to provide learn to swim financial aid for children in need. Here's a note from a parent expressing what this kind of support means to them :)
"Thank you for giving my kids with special needs opportunity to learn to swim. Without your financial help it wonโt be possible."

Several families in financial need have reached out. If you are able to provide support this holiday season, thank you. All proceeds will go towards the learn-to-swim needs of children on the autism spectrum.
Do you know of a child living in Ontario who could use some learn-to-swim financial support? We are looking to support a few children in need this holiday season. Please email [email protected] if you know of a family in need.

In speaking to numerous parents, two key issues were identified: 1) minimal government funding to support costs/funding is slow to arrive and 2) Many swim instructors need knowledge on how to support children on the spectrum.
Right 2 Swim wants to help 1) reduce financial barriers and 2) promote knowledge and understanding.
We are currently putting together a 'Tips for Swim Instructors' sheet in conjunction with a parent and a professional who has experience supporting children on the spectrum.
Parents/caregivers please share your tips below - we'd love to integrate as many ideas as possible.
