When it comes to getting more reach with hashtags...

Brand owners tend to use hashtags that are similar to their competitors.

This is a mistake because every account is different, even if they’re in the same niche and marketing to the same audience.

By using the wrong hashtags for your account, you end up not getting much exposure outside of your followers because you either don’t have enough engagement or the hashtag doesn’t have enough engagement.

Instead, if you use hashtags that have an average engagement rate similar to your average post,

Many brands think that having a great quality product is all they need for their awesome product to sell!

The thing is that consumers…

❌ don’t buy products
❌ they don’t buy cool features
❌ they don’t even buy solutions

They buy 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦…

When you buy an Apple device, the quality of the phone is usually at the bottom of the list even though they position it at the top…

BUT if I built you a better phone and charged you the same amount, would you buy mine over Apple’s?

Probably not...

When you buy an Apple, you buy the convenience of the eco-system, the status, the familiarity etc, and the quality is just a table stack, not the deciding factor.

👉 McDonald’s does NOT make the best burgers, yet they sell more burgers than anyone in the world.
👉 Ikea does NOT make the best furniture, yet they sell more furniture than anyone in the world.

Instead of focusing on creating exceptional products… focus on creating exceptional OUTCOMES!
