Rose took Twitch in when she was just one year old — a broken jaw, broken leg, fractured ribs, and pneumonia. She had already been through so much.
That was 13 years ago.
Now they're at St. Felix Centre together and for Rose, having Twitch by her side makes all the difference.
Because sometimes home isn't a place. It's who's with you. At St. Felix Centre, we never make our guests choose between shelter and the pet who keeps them going. 🐾

For the first time in Canadian history, the national Census is asking about homelessness, including hidden homelessness: couch surfing, doubling up, living temporarily with others because there’s nowhere else to go.
An estimated 6 million Canadians have experienced this. Yet until now, they’ve been all but invisible in our national data.
The 2026 long-form Census (sent to 1 in 4 households) includes two new questions that will help researchers, advocates, and policymakers finally see the full picture, and make the case for real investment in housing and services.
With FIFA just 34 days away from coming to Toronto, we spent the day in Liberty Village connecting with our community and celebrating the diversity that makes this city so special. ⚽🌎
