Our client, a leading processor in the pharmaceutical and health products space, is currently seeking a Plant / Production Manager to join their team in Niagara Falls, ON . The organization is currently expanding and is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial individual who can grow with the company and be part of its management team

Responsibilities:
• The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the plant processing operations, manage production activities in the plant, provide effective leadership for the operational and manufacturing teams
• Enable the QA department to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Manage inventory, control supply chain and oversee production scheduling to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery
• Complete P&L responsibility for production activities
• Develop and manage continuous improvement processes
• Analyze and calculate costs of production and methods to decrease expenditure

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years progressive production / plant management experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical processing/manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes
• Entrepreneurial spirit, as the company is experiencing growth and expansion
• Ability to lead and motivate a team that is growing

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

Position: Flexographic Press Operator
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Industry: Manufacturing / Printing / Flexograhic / Flexo
Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent
Shift: There is a Day and Afternoon Shift available

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years Flexographic Press operating experience
Experience with maintenance and set-up of presses a definite asset
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
