When our days are busy and we feel like we're always going, we lean towards indulging ourselves in something that will take our minds off of our stress for a short-period of time. What happens when we don't have time for these indulgences? How can we decompress? That's where self-awareness comes into play. Understanding yourself enough to understand what you need to think, do or say in the moment in order to instill calm into your mind and body is so important. It's an ongoing journey of discovering ourselves but it's the most sustainable long-term solution to handling stress. ♥️
