Meet Akin Dupont member Michelle Evelyn Lee ()! ✨ Michelle will be showcasing their work at the Remote Gallery Summer Art Market and Exhibition on July 18 from 1-6pm.

Michelle Evelyn Lee is a Toronto-based visual artist working in painting and clay. Her process considers perceived boundaries — or boundlessness — between body, environment, and memory. Drawing from subtle moments of everyday interaction and transformation, she reimagines places, nature, and people as dreamlike terrains inhabited by amorphous, spectral forms. Tranquil yet searching, they are purposefully indeterminate, acting as stand-ins for the viewer and inviting reflection on identity, emotion, and interconnectedness. Alongside her studio practice, Michelle leads art and nature-based programs at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She holds a BFA from OCAD University and has exhibited across Ontario.

Meet Akin Dupont member John Williams Collins! ✨John will be showcasing their work at the Remote Gallery Summer Art Market and Exhibition on July 18 from 1-6pm.

John Williams Collins was born in in Glasgow Scotland and moved to Canada as an adult Shortly thereafter he attended the Ontario College of Art and Design, graduating with honours. When it became a degree granting institution, he returned during the evenings and upgraded the college diploma to a B.F.A. After Art school and several exhibitions, he decided to self-fund a series of travels, explorations, and investigations to research how Spirit of place informs the behaviour and culture of diverse human beings. He is still deeply committed to this meaningful practise as rambles along the Way.
