Happy Monday! The nasty humidity is back starting today. But, I get to do something fun! A bunch of us retired Enbridge IT folks are getting together for lunch. Even better, I don't have to drive! It gives me a chance to really catch up with someone I haven't seen in a really long time.

Blessed are you, loving Creator, for all your gifts to me and those close to me. Blessed are you for giving me family and friends to be with me in times of joy and sorrow, to help me in days of need, and to rejoice with me in moments of celebration. And when one day they might be gone, bless you for your Holy Spirit, who remains with us even at the hour of our death.
Creator, I praise you for your son Jesus, who knew the happiness of family and friends, and in the love of your Holy Spirit. Blessed are you for ever and ever.

Happy Sunday! It's a beautiful sunshiny morning although we are expecting haze from the wildfires in Quebec. It seems it will be another horrible season of wildfires. We really need some rain! Regardless, I'm off to Vernonville for their anniversary service and picnic! Always a fun event.

May the peace of the Lord Christ go with us, wherever He may send us.
May He guide us through the wilderness, protect us through the storm.
May He bring us home rejoicing at the wonders He has shown us.

Happy Sunday! The worst of the heat seems to be over. Thank goodness! We are having our Church of the Wild service this morning and what a glorious, God given, morning to celebrate! We'll be outside at St. Andrew's in Grafton at 10am, if you'd like to join us.

Almighty God, by your Holy Spirit you have made me one with your saints in heaven and on earth.
